Nature Comforts

On a golden gift of an October day, there is sadness near the oak tree. Family gaze, pray and weep for someone so deeply loved. Prayers comfort and loving hearts hold memories as well as each other.

Such a deep unspeakable loss for parents, spouse and children! A devoted dad, loving spouse and cherished son is laid to rest. Leaves and flowers caress his casket as it is lowered into place.

Offering a bit of joy midst the sadness, the heart of a child finds an acorn and offers it with a tentative smile.
Our God through His Nature gives us this token of love which adds a bit of hope to our grief.
